This is the official site for The Scottish Linux Users' Group.

ScotLUG's IRC channel, #scotlug on freenode.net is usually busy and helpful. More permanent things go in this wiki. There is a mailing list, less active than #scotlug.

For real-world meetings see the current events page (or see the public VCS-format ScotLUG Calendar maintained by Pickle.)

ScotLUG meets at 19:30 every last Thursday of the month at the University of Strathclyde then moves at roughly 21:00 to the Counting House just west of George Square.

Other Scottish LUGs

The Scottish Linux User Group is made up of people from all over Scotland. Some of these members are also members of other LUGS such as:

Please add any additional lugs to this list.

It would be good if we could organise a national Linux Festival at some point to bring all of the Scottish Linux community together in the same place at the same time.

There is currently development of an inter-lug (p2p) book Library, if you have any books you'd like to share (and get back) or would like to borrow something then please add to the Library page
